On 30 August 2026, the Jordan Bar Association called on the Ministry of Education to allow 2026 secondary-school graduates in law and Sharia tracks to enter humanities programmes under previous admission rules, rather than limiting them to law and Sharia faculties.

The Association also addressed law-school seat numbers in the context of admission policy and the future of the legal profession.
